About The Brand
Founder and Designer Ashley Busch has an affinity for swimwear that drew her to create her own swim brand for women who crave timeless silhouettes that are enhanced with intricate designs and unique details. The 2019 debut collection draws inspiration from travel destinations, natural elements, and an array of eye-catching textures and colors. Monarch Reign focuses on creating a fit that is just right; feminine while being supportive and comfortable. The foundation for each design is the belief that swimwear should be as unique and beautiful as the women wearing them, and ready for wherever travel takes them.
The brand’s namesake is inspired by the Monarch butterfly. Their power combined with a delicate exterior and unceasing confidence embody the feminine spirit. When you believe in yourself there are endless possibilities that are driven by hope, strength, and encouragement. Ashley has strong beliefs on the impact fashion can have on our earth. It is a brand mission to ensure that Monarch Reign is eco-conscious, leaving a positive sustainable effect on the environment. For every purchase made, 10% will be donated to the Charlotte chapter of Sufrider.
OUR GIVEBACK
The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. The Charlotte Chapter promotes the mission and values of the Surfrider Foundation to the Greater Charlotte area, by building a strong membership and chapter network. Additionally, we provide educational awareness around the issues that are detrimental to our coasts and waterways and partnering with coastal chapters during campaigns. The Charlotte Chapter implements new campaigns that not only improves the lives of our residents and visitors, but ultimately improves the purity of the world’s oceans. This is our passion largely in part due to the connection between Charlotte’s local lakes & rivers to the ocean.
Polo for Life presents the Monarch Fund, a recently established fund dedicated to families who desperately need help getting back on their financial feet after their child has completed cancer treatment. Motivated by the knowledge that approximately 50% of all families facing pediatric cancer will be forced to file bankruptcy, the Monarch Fund will directly assist and restore hope for families that have been financially crippled by a cancer diagnosis. All funds will go directly to families in need who are referred from our partnering organizations.
